Sales Incentive Games For 2009

Sales incentive games are everywhere in corporate America and in small businesses with a sales team.  Sales is the action of helping someone or a group of people purchase a product or service.  An incentive is a reason or benefit for doing a task in this case and you can easily create games based off of incentives in a sales environment.

Spiff Sales Incentive Games

The first and most common sales incentive is money.  There is no question about it because most sales people work for money.  They work on commission and they make more the more they sell.  This simple game can be pushed into “spiffs” where the sales person receives cash or a gift card when they achieve a given goal.  $50, $100 gift cards are great for sales reps who need to pay bills or just have a nice dinner on the town.

Let The Sales Person Decide The Target

Who makes the most calls, who has the most hours on the phone, and who has the most contracts signed are oldies even through they can still work.  I would suggest something more innovative like who can sell the most of a given product that is selected by the group.  This way the sales professionals  pick their target product or service that they can win a spiff on.  Give the choice to the sales professional and the game master decides the amount.
