The swine flu has been reported recently in many countries including Scotland, United States, Mexico, and New Zealand.  Death counts are rising and you should be informed on how to keep yourself and the people around you healthy.

Swine Flu In California

Since many of the cases of swine flu have been reported in California there is a special need for people in Los Angeles to take extra care when preventing the spread of swine flu.  Los Angeles is a very international city with people coming from Israel, Mexico, Europe, Asia and all over world.  This along with a neighboring border to Mexico may increase the chances of a larger swine flu outbreak in the metro area.  Be sure to stay home if you are sick and contact the CDC right away if you have any flu like symptoms.

  • Cover nose and mouth when sneezing and coughing
  • Wash your hands
  • Use tissues
  • Use alcohol based washing liquids
  • Stay away from people with flu like symptoms
  • Stay healthy, get exercise, and practice good nutrition.
