Swine Flu In California

Since many of the cases of swine flu have been reported in California there is a special need for people in Los Angeles to take extra care when preventing the spread of swine flu. Los Angeles is a very international city with people coming from Israel, Mexico, Europe, Asia and all over world. This along with a neighboring border to Mexico may increase the chances of a larger swine flu outbreak in the metro area. Be sure to stay home if you are sick and contact the CDC right away if you have any flu like symptoms.

Cover nose and mouth when sneezing and coughing

Wash your hands

Use tissues

Use alcohol based washing liquids

Stay away from people with flu like symptoms

Stay healthy, get exercise, and practice good nutrition.

There has been so much media and press recently on the health and safety department in California and the quality of water that people drink, cook with, and bath in. It is important to know what is in your water because it could improve your life or take it away. Toxins and pollutants are everywhere near major cities including Los Angeles and it is important to know the quality of the water you are using.

Los Angeles Health and Safety

After growing up in an area where I could drink from a stream and use well water daily I found Los Angeles to have the most dirty and smelly water I have ever witnessed inside of the United States including parts of the south. That was over a decade ago and I am still not used to it. I suggest calling a local water contractor who spends all of their time with water quality testing. They should be able to provide a complete run down of each chemical and meneral that is in the water and how safe it is to drink and use. Please leave your comments about your experience with water quality and how to improve it.
